Hi, I'm Carly!
In 2010 I graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Shortly after that in 2011 I certified as an Athletic Therapist with the Canadian Athletic Therapist's Association. I've worked with a number of different sports teams including Football, Hockey, and Lacrosse. What I enjoy most as an Athletic Therapist is working in private practice in a clinical setting where I can connect with my clients one on one and get to know them on a personal level while helping them get back to sport, work, and leisure. What Moves You provides a space where clients can book their one on one assessments and treatments with me, while having the opportunity to explore the blog.
I've started this blog because after viewing countless fitness and weight loss websites through Pinterest Facebook, and Instagram, I realized that a lot of the content is not positive with a lot of misinformation. My goal with this blog is to inspire others to use fitness for what it should be meant for - physical and mental health benefits, and fun! This blog is also meant to help with proper technique, fundamentals of fitness, why it's important and prevention of injury.
